DOTS and Wilks apply bodyweight coefficients to a lifted total. They make comparisons possible, but they do not account for every difference between lifters, equipment or competition rules.
Keep the formula, event and equipment category consistent when tracking progress. For official placing or best-lifter awards, use the scoring method in your competition rules.

The total is 600 kg. Multiply it by the bodyweight coefficient for the formula you choose. Different formulas can produce different scores for the same lifts.

Which bodyweight should I enter?
For a meet result, use the recorded weigh-in bodyweight. For a training comparison, use a measured bodyweight and record it consistently.
Is DOTS the same as IPF GL?
No. They use different formulas. The IPF identifies GL points as its scoring system. Check the event rules before treating a calculator result as an official score.
Does 1RM percentage estimate my maximum?
No. It calculates a percentage of a maximum you already provide. It does not estimate a one-rep max from repetitions.
Why can two calculators disagree?
Common causes include a different formula version, mixed kg/lb units, rounding, bodyweight limits or age adjustments. Our methodology page explains the implementation.
